The Klein printe bakery in Aachen is centrally located in the inner city. Groups of visitors have the opportunity to call us and make a reservation to come by and see for themselves what goes on behind the scenes in a real printe bakery. Groups of no fewer than approx. 20 persons are welcome to come along for a sniff, a nibble and a listen. It may also be possible to combine smaller groups.
We’ll have some interesting details for you on the raw materials and the ingredients, and we’ll explain the differences between preparing and processing dough today and the way it was done years ago. The guided tour takes about 45 minutes. Groups, however, should budget for an hour, which gives the individual the opportunity to ask one or two last questions.
Large groups can arrange to be split up. Gastronomy nearby will be
ready to entertain you during a brief “pause for a rest”. For the
guest in a rush, we can also offer a shortened version of the tour.
